Pascale Zintzen is the founder of Oikos Studio and a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works between Barcelona and her home in the countryside. She works with natural pigments that she collects in the forests with her sons.  Her interest is in finding local sources of colour, as she believes in "What We Need is Here" - Pascale combines her love of nature with promoting a responsible approach to nature through art.  Working with wild materials is a connection to the land and an engagement with the Mediterranean environment, which has a great influence on her work. 

Her land full of rosemary, thyme and olive trees, as well as her studies in archaeology, are a constant source of inspiration and underline her creative process. 

For this gathering, Pascale will bring the pigments and clay she uses at home (white, black and terracotta). No previous experience is necessary as we believe in learning by experience. 

In three hours you can create something to take home and look at every day, such as vases, plates, candlesticks, cups, tins, etc.... When you join us for a second gathering, you can colour and glaze your pieces.
